The Roadmap

You can find the issue tracker for Parahumans of the Wormverse here.

The current plan is to get a polished, balanced, quote-containing set of 10 heroes, 4 villains, and 4 environments; the rough equivalent of the basic set for Sentinels. At the moment the heroes, villains and environments for that exist, but they need more play and testing to establish polish and balance.

Afterwards there are several sets of heroes/villains/environments I'm planning on putting together and getting to that polished state. In no particular order:

The rest of the heroes/villains/environments will likely slot in around that; and the sets will probably change; and there will probably be new decks brought in along the way; or old decks dropped.

The timeframe you should expect is several months per set; I have a busy life and it takes time to test something to a usable level. Decks will likely hover around the Functional or Initial Work stage for a while, though, and they can still be played in that state - they just aren't finished yet.

I'm also intending, parallel to this, to look into commissioning some custom art for character cards and card backs, adding little logos to use for nemesis indicators, setting up colour schemes, and producing a set you could get custom-printed. This will likely take a while and will likely occur on a set-by-set basis. I want to be happy with how a card plays and the balance of it before I commit to spending significant amounts of effort and money on getting it printed.

If you have any comments, advice, notes on games you've played, or a desire to make Worm fan art for the cards, you can contact me at jamesmpicone+website@gmail.com
